When It Actually Happens…
Most people assume they’ll “figure it out” when something goes wrong.
But when systems fail, there’s no time to think.
No step-by-step guide.
No one coming to help immediately.
No second chances to get it right.
You’re left with whatever skills you already have… or don’t.
And that’s where the real problem begins.
Because without the right knowledge:
- Small mistakes become serious risks
- Panic replaces clear thinking
- Basic tasks like finding water or staying warm become overwhelming
This isn’t about extreme scenarios.
It’s about being unprepared when it actually matters.

Johnny is not just a high quality wilderness instructor, but a person of strong character and has the sincerity of heart and perseverance of a good leader. As someone who has had introductions in many of the outdoor fields of wilderness skills and spent some time at a distance with them, I can firmly say after a few weeks in the woods with Johnny, I am more connected to my impact in nature, my hunting and scouting skills have thoroughly upgraded and I am a better and more in touch human being.
